Impact Statement 2024-25 - Report - Page 3
Thank you
Sigma Kappas
Every so often, we experience a year
that is remarkable and significant, when
the impact of our shared purpose,
values and generosity goes beyond
expectations.
Thanks to you, your Sigma Kappa
Foundation just completed the most
successful fundraising year since the
COVID-19 pandemic, with almost 3,000
donors contributing $1.57 million in
support of our members and programs.
A few standouts from this fulfilling year
include:
A Heartfelt Promise: 150 Years of
Sisterhood campaign raised over $2
million, created 46 new scholarships
and allowed us to create a
dedicated fund for the Collegiate
Emergency Grant, ensuring this
program will be funded for years
to come.
We awarded scholarships to 109
members - our most recipients ever
in a year.
We fulfilled our $1 million pledge to
the Alzheimer’s Association for U.S.
POINTER.
Commemorating Sigma Kappa’s
150th anniversary, a special edition of
1874 Minutes of Giving was our
largest ever day of giving.
I hope you will take the time to read and
learn about all of of the events worth
celebrating in this Impact Statement.
Please realize that none of this would be
possible without generous and loyal
donors like you.
These achievements are a testament to
the power of our sisterhood. Together we
are able to enhance the lives of all
Sigma Kappas for now and for the next
150 years.
I look forward to celebrating more great
wins in the years to come.
